Wild Birds Unlimited of Santa Monica, CA is a small, locally owned business. We offer the highest quality bird feeding products available anywhere, backed with expert advice to help bring the joy of bird feeding to our customer’s backyards.
Our associates work with other staff, including the owner, to bring to life the store’s mission – “We Bring People and Nature Together…And We Do It With Excellence!” The difference between Wild Birds Unlimited and other retailers goes far beyond what we sell. It’s who we are! Enthusiasm, professionalism, informed advice and superior customer service are the hallmarks of our staff. To that end, we provide training with regard to backyard bird feeding, bird watching, and product knowledge.

Sales Associate Responsibilities:
Participate in helping us achieve our goal to provide quality products, service, expertise, and a positive shopping experience.
Understand and communicate the store’s merchandise after completing a training program.
Process transactions at the Point of Sale.
Must routinely carry 20 – 40lb bags of seed to customer’s vehicle.
Unload delivered merchandise and organize in backroom.
Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and professional demeanor.
Maintain good housekeeping standards to present a clean store.
Restock merchandise.
Accurate accounting of all cash and charge receipts
Punctual and responsible time management.
Additional tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time 12-20 hours/week: Must be available at least one day of the weekend.
