Feb. 23: Native Plants for Local Birds, Bees and Butterflies
On Saturday, February 23, at 9 a.m. the Theodore Payne Foundation is coming to Wild Birds Unlimited in Santa Monica to do a special presentation on how to use native plants to bring local birds to your garden. Wild Birds is located at 12433 Wilshire Blvd. (at Centinela, across from Armstrong Garden Center).
Lili Singer, Director of Special Projects for the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers & Native Plants, will bring native plants to show how to use them in gardens in Southern California. The foundation is the renowned source for information about native California plants, their benefits and how to use them in home gardens.
Before the talk, Singer will have a selection of native plants for sale.
